CSDDA Mini Expo, Delavan WI

On Sept. 15, 2017, the CSDDA held its first Regional Mini Expo.  Guardian joined exhibitors from Hoermann, Linear, Advanced Plastics, Safe-Way, Action, Amarr/Entematic, Lift-Master, C.H.I., Multi-Fab Products, Hobbitt Distributing and Miller Edge at Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan, WI for the event patterned after the IDA regional mini expos.

After a complimentary continental breakfast, Dave Anderson from 360 Solutions spoke about OSHA Audits and What OSHA is Looking for When They Show Up, then presented Strategies to Increase Sales and Business Development.  After lunch Joni Kalstrup from LiftMaster spoke on On-line Selling and Amazon.  Each presentation was informative and well received.

As exhibitor tables were located in the presentation conference room; there was plenty of time between and after the presentations for dealers to chat with and see what was new at the suppliers. The Guardian table featured the new ¾ HP Model 428 and I-Beam rails.  Guardian's plastic garage door hinges were found by many dealers to be intriguing.   Attendees were entertained by the Guardian 628FCA Music GDO throughout the event.

And of course, what door industry event would be complete without an open bar and spirited discussion afterwards.  

On Saturday morning some of the attendees took advantage of the beautiful day and golf course at Lake Lawn Lodge and played 18.  The next CSDDA mini expo will be in St. Charles, MO on Oct. 13, 2017.
